How many of us think about the human eye? Among the many things to be thankful for this year, the ability to see the world clearly, with or without vision correction tools such as glasses or contacts, is something that can easily be taken for granted. Many people around the world do not have the privilege of vision correction nor vision care. As the idiom goes, “seeing is believing”, so we want to show you some of the most common refractive errors and how they affect vision.
Myopia, aka Nearsightedness, causes blurry vision for things far away
Hyperopia, aka Farsightedness, causes blurry vision for things close up
Astigmatism, which usually occurs when the cornea is not smooth, causes blurry vision everywhere.
EyeQue has created a portable tool to evaluate refractive error and measure eyesight. Using the miniscope, a small smartphone attachment, and the myEyeQue app, you can get a reading of your eyesight within minutes. Whether you want to check your eyesight, track your eyesight, or check your glasses, EyeQue can help you achieve 20/20.
